April 19th, 2011 Omilero hosted an event to kick off the 2011 fundraising campaigns. Twenty individuals attended our very first event to hear about the journey and mission of Omilero. Gratefully Omilero received over $6,000 in donations that were our first step towards our $25,000 goal to execute the 2nd phase of the Omilero vision– Purchasing 800 filters to import from Ghana and sell to local NGO’s and local government officials.
